long story short my landlord is treating my roommates and i very unfairly. everytning was included in rent and he’s decided to change his mind and not pay the electric bill this month. on top of that, the house i’m living in is genuinely falling apart. it’s embarrassing to admit, but there are roaches literally everywhere. they’re in the kitchen, the pantry, the fridge, the microwave. my bedroom wall is caving in from water damage and if i don’t keep an industrial dehumidifier going, my belongings remain damp. my shower wall is caving in, and last month he made me pay to have my bathroom drains completely unclogged because he, as the landlord, didn’t want to do it.
i’ve reached my breaking point with this. i don’t know what else to do. i have to have my things out by tomorrow night. i woke up today wanting a good day but am now being forced to relocate poppy and i to stay with my mom at my brothers. for awhile i’m going to have to be sleeping in her room because there is nowhere else i can go. my dad won’t help me.
i hate doing this but i’m desperate. my bank account is overdrawn just from trying to eat this week. i just need help.

I saw this on Tiktok and thought it needed to be passed on. Pololū Valley is sacred land currently at risk of being developed into yet another “scenic tourist attraction” for profit. Activists like @/melemaikalanimakalapua on Tiktok are fighting to have this petition seen by as many people as possible in order to prevent the senseless destruction of this land.
